In the Dominant Paradigm of Modern Science (DPMS) the mass of the sun is 1.9E+30 Kg. Did you know, though, that the mass of the sun has never been measured? The reason why we think we know the mass of the sun is because we have theoretical calculations based on assumptions. Interestingly, one key assumption in the use of Newton’s Law of Gravity is Heliocentricity.
The way it works is this:
How massive would the sun have to be to hold the Earth (known mass) in orbit (known radius and period).
Simple right? Well actually not so much. The following video describes very nicely how this formula is used to calculate the mass of the Sun given the assumption that the Earth orbits the Sun and the Sun is stationary. Incidentally, it is impossible to prove either of those assumptions. Anyway, as the video progresses you will see that the theoretical manipulation of the formula gets to point where mass is no longer a factor at all, since it cancels out from both sides of the equation, and the calculation becomes based on angular velocity, not mass.
So, what this means is that the mass of the Sun is calculated to be 1.9E+30 Kg, based entirely on the assumption of Heliocentricity and very little else.
What does this mean for Matty’s Paradigm? I’m not a mathematician, so initially I figured that we could calculate the mass of the Sun in a Geocentric system by simply changing the mass values in the formula to fit the assumption that the Sun’s mass is going to be small enough so that it will stay in orbit (known radius and period) around the Earth (known mass). Since, as it turns out, there are no mass values in the equation (sneaky), we have to look at the values that we have and use them to give us relative proportions of the planetary bodies. Hey guess what? we’re using relativity!
Math is, basically, a language developed to allow people to perpetrate Egregious Theoretical Fudging (ETF), so we’ll use a little ETF ourselves.
If in the Heliocentric system the Earth is 0.0003% of the mass of the Sun, we will use that same relative proportion in the Geocentric system and say that the Sun is 0.0003% of the mass of the Earth. That means to calculate the new mass value we must multiply 1.9E+30 by 0.000003². The first 0.000003 scales from the Heliocentric Sun to the Earth, and the second 0.000003 scales from the Earth to the Geocentric Sun. That’s 9.87E-12 which we’ll call Matty’s Constant. Since the values for the masses of all other planetary bodies are based on our assumed mass of the Sun, we must apply Matty’s Constant to all the planets mass values from the Heliocentric system. Matty’s Constant thus scales the Heliocentric universe to reality.
Here are the planetary masses in Matty’s Paradigm ranked from largest to smallest. Notice that the most massive body in the system just happens to the the Earth (duh).

Now I realize that this is going to be a shock to a lot of people, especially to those who insist that gravity assist maneuvers in space flights prove Heliocentricity, but the fact is that the masses of the planetary bodies have exactly the same relationship to each other in Matty’s Paradigm than they do in the Heliocentric model. We just happen to have something called the Inverse Square Law so it’s not an issue.
The biggest most energy dependent part of any space flight is overcoming the gravity of the Earth, once that is done space has the same mass relationships with itself and with space vessels in both models.
In case you were wondering why on earth would I pursue this line of reasoning and attempt to take on the entire scientific establishment let me remind you of a passage of scripture from the Book of Jeremiah:
Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 31:37)
If you skip to the end of the Bible you will see that God does not cast off the seed of Israel…
